Christy is both course leader and course examiner of ELC's reading and writing electives. Her team coordinates the following courses:
a) Grammar in Use;
b) Writing for Academic English;
c) Independent Learning;
d) English through Overseas Experience
e) Final Year Project for AP students;
f) Writing Effective Lab Reports; and
g) Graduate English courses.

She is currently a member of the English Taskforce for CityU, a collaborative initiative by the Department of English and the English Language Centre in devising and implementing the English enhancement programme for the new 3-3-4 cirriculum. She is also Head of Institutional Research at the ELC.

Major research interests: semantics and pragmatics, discourse analysis, language and psychology, and self-learning strategies
