Penny won the 2008/9 CityU Teaching Excellence Award.
Before joining the ELC in 1998, she had taught in Japan, Argentina and England. She is currently the Manager for the EDB workshops, which the ELC offer to secondary school teachers. She is also responsible for the professional development of all the Instructor 2s in the department.
Her professional interests include teacher training, materials development, learner strategies and the use of ePortfolios to enhance learning.
