Charles Lockhart has extensive experience in teaching, teacher education, and testing. He has worked in the Ivory Coast, Seattle, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Hawaii, Hong Kong, and Turkey.
His professional interests include: teacher education; assessment and evaluation; materials and curriculum development; and writing. He has published several articles on teacher education, testing, and academic writing.
Charlie is also part of the Self Access Centre's Language Learning Advisors' team. His areas of expertise and interest for language learning advising are academic writing, English for professional communication (especially English for Science and Technology), pronunciation and web-based language learning.
